Dance for a Cause - Yagyaseni Gurugram
What if you could witness destiny, strength, and time collide? After a successful debut in Sunnyvale, California, attended by 150 people and streamed live across the globe, Yagyaseni is coming to Gurugram! The response has been overwhelming, and we are humbled by the enthusiasm of audiences both near and far. Due to the incredible reception, we are thrilled to bring this Kathak ballet to India, home of the Mahabharata.
In this special edition of Yagyaseni, we’re raising the bar even higher. Not only will we feature new dancers, but this time, students from the Lotus Petal Foundation will be joining the performance, deepening the authenticity and impact of our storytelling. Your support will help make this ambitious production a reality once again—and ensure its message reaches even more hearts.
We invite you to be part of this journey! A livestream will be available for those around the world, and with your donation, you’ll receive exclusive access to witness Yagyaseni from wherever you are. If you’ve already experienced the magic, consider donating to further our cause and support the next generation of dancers and changemakers.
Every contribution helps. Whether it’s to watch live or to empower these talented dancers, your generosity makes an impact. Let’s keep the fire burning—together.

My story:
I, Poorvi Singh, am a professional Kathak Dancer (an Indian Classical dance form). I am from California. Lotus Petal Foundation is known to me through my parents who support Lotus Petal Foundation; a not for profit organisation that works towards transforming lives of the underserved children by providing quality education, nutrition and livelihood. The funds raised through this fundraiser platform will be used towards paying for the education, meals and uniform of the students at the Lotus Petal Foundation. These children are from low resourced families and education is a tool of transformation by which they can be liberated from the cycle of poverty. These children in India. The proceeds from this fundraiser will only and completely be used to support the education and nutrition of the children from low resourced families. There will be no raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions offered in exchange for any donations made on GoFundMe for this fundraiser.
After 16 years of dedicated Kathak training, I wanted to create something impactful - something bigger than ourselves. Yagyaseni is a Kathak performance where all ticket proceeds will be going to the Lotus Petal Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing education, nutrition, and healthcare to underprivileged children in India. Lotus Petal Foundation has helped over 35,000 children and is set to become India’s largest philanthropic school! We hope to raise 5,000 through this platform!
