Los Angeles County Firemans Welfare Fund

I am a student in South Korea who is planning to study abroad in California. I’ve been to LA a lot since I was young and now I feel sense of belonging there.

My friends in Los Angeles are living a nightmare. Some have lost their homes, while others face unimaginable fear as the fires edge closer. This disaster demands immediate action. Firefighters are risking their lives on the frontlines, battling an inferno that grows stronger with each passing hour. They need resources now to fight back and save as many lives as possible.

A few days ago, Southern California wildfires started on January 7th, 2025. Wild winds are causing sporadic wildfires elsewhere. More than 180,000 people are evacuating and have lost their homes. Many people are getting hurt and dying. 141 km² of land has burnt down. I am planning to donate to the Los Angeles County Firemen's Welfare Fund to help the firefighters end the disaster as soon as possible. Please help to stop the fire from damaging citizens in Los Angeles.

Hello. In times of tragedy us Americans must support one another. I have family who have lived 5 miles away from a ferocious wild fire and they had to wait a week before they could get food from the grocery store because the smoke was so thick. I waited in painful agony for this to pass. Although I live on the east coast I want to help raise money for those in need so nobody has to go through what I went through. There are many others who have family out there whether they live with them or not. Help lessen their worries so we can get proper equipment to deal with this monstrosity. So many people have died and many more have been injured. You can be a fire fighter too by donating so helpful equipment/supplies can be purchased. I promise this in not chat gpt... I'm just very inspirational. I also have aspired to be a journalist at many points in my life. Enough about me though, more about helping others recover. Pls donate!!

Los Angeles County is under fire. I wanna raise money for those who are in need and who lost their homes. The Santa Ana winds caused all these fires to start, plus the dry areas from lack of rain. Yet, Governor Newsom isn’t doing much to help those in the area.
