Loon Lake Community Association is fundraising

Stop the Development of Loon Lake
The Loon Gulf Corporation plans to develop Loon Lake and the hamlet extensively. Our community can't support 50+ new households, and this small lake cannot handle more powerboats. A development of this scale will damage the lake, harm wildlife, and threaten the surrounding habitat.
The proposed plans do not align with the purpose of the Adirondack Park: to preserve forests and wetlands, balance development, and manage private development while maintaining ecological integrity.
The Loon Lake Community Association (LLCA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, has hired lawyers to ensure that the Adirondack Park Agency does its job and does not permit Loon Gulf to deforest, despoil or develop the land without oversight and regulation.
However, lawyers cost money, and we can't stop this development without your help. Please donate to the Anti-Development Legal Fund!
For more information, please reach out to us through our website (http://www.loonlakehoa.org/contact.html) or use the contact form below. Also, we'd love for your signature on our petition if you haven't signed yet!
(p.s. we had to restart this fundraiser because of a technical problem. We've already raised over five grand on GoFundme!)
