We at Longmeadow Pride Alliance are thrilled to bring you the Longmeadow Pride Festival for the 4th year! Over the past few years, we've faced numerous challenges, but with the unwavering support of our amazing community and generous local businesses, we've been able to keep this event alive.
This year, however, we faced an existential threat due to significantly lower fundraising. Fortunately, a state grant came through just in time to sustain us for another year, but we still urgently need your support to continue this tradition.
Our focus now is on raising the necessary funds to ensure that Longmeadow Pride can thrive for years to come. Your donations will help us cover essential costs like vendor tents, entertainment, and the variety of activities that make this festival so special.
Longmeadow Pride will take place on Sunday, September 15th, from 11 am to 4 pm on the Longmeadow Town Green. This is a FREE, family-friendly event, open to everyone, including allies. We’ll have a wide range of activities for kids, delicious food trucks, live entertainment, and an incredible assortment of booths from local resources, non-profits, LGBTQ-friendly organizations, and local artisans.

Last year was a major growth year for us. We transitioned from renting tents for our vendors to buying our own, had a full-size professional stage, and increased our booth turnout by more than 50% from our first year. Sadly, we also saw a reduction in our volunteer engagement making our efforts more limited than we would have preferred.
This year, our "ask" is to get involved! And whether that is a donation here on our GoFundMe and helping to make this event possible once again, or whether that's rolling up your sleeves and helping to organize the event. We're also looking for volunteers just for the day of Pride to help out with a huge variety of needs. Or all of the above!
This year, Longmeadow Pride will be on Sunday, September 17th, from 11 am to 4 pm on the Longmeadow Town Green. All are welcome to attend, including allies. This will be a FREE family-friendly event with lots of fun activities for the kids, including face painting, lawn games, yoga on the green, and more.
We will have a nice assortment of food trucks, as well as some wonderful live entertainment for you all to enjoy. And of course, we will have an incredible variety of booths, ranging from local resources and non-profits to local LGBTQ colleges, faith organizations, healthcare providers and more. This will be coupled with many local craftspeople and artisans with goods for you to peruse. We hope you will consider supporting our local artists!
