Living Kidney Donors Network

LKDN has received an additional $32,500 offline!

For over 13 years Living Kidney Donors Network (LKDN) has taught thousands of patients how to conduct a successful living kidney transplant campaign.

The financial support from this Go Fund Me campaign will help expand the reach of the new online program, Having Your Kidney Donor Find YOU! This program is a VITAL educational resource for hundreds of thousands of patients who are currently in need of a kidney transplant. The series is also available in Spanish.

Having Your Kidney Donor Find YOU! is now being used by DaVita Kidney Care, the world's second largest dialysis company. Transplant centers and other organizations are also using the program.  

Over 90% of those registering for Having Your Kidney Donor Find YOU! are finding it through an internet search.  This fundraiser will enable LKDN to obtain help from social media and website professionals so internet algorithms display the program prominently for those in need.

Another recent program LKDN developed is a new initiative, Kidney Transplant Thursdays that brings the kidney community together on the 2nd Thursday of every month to educate the public about the need for living kidney donors. www.kidneytransplantthursdays.org Public relations and social media support is  also needed for this initiative.
