Living Hope Farm Needs Your Help!
Hi, I am Joclyn C and I'm very excited to involve our community in our fundraising efforts. Living Hope Farm is a community beacon for fresh, organic food. I wanted to create this GoFundMe because the farm has had a huge impact on how I view fresh, local resources and how important they are to me and those around me.
Besides supporting families with the fresh products, the farm also grows with the intent to donate a portion of their produce to local families within the community schools, food banks, and senior centers in the area.
In the time that I've been with Living Hope Farm, I've found a passionate group of teammates who are constantly working to provide for others without anything to gain in return. It truly is a special place and that is why I'm asking for your support to raise funds for the farm.
Living Hope Farm, a registered 501 (c)3 Non-profit CSA located in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, has been affected by Hurricane Ida, causing damage to several areas. Fortunately, no one was injured during the storm, but our farm was.
We lost almost half of our broiler chickens in the flash flood. We lost our winter squash and pumpkin crops and our new farm sign was completely destroyed. The farm has incurred emergency labor and clean-up expenses.
Your donation will help bring relief and hope to our farm and community by allowing us to purchase in more livestock, winter squash, pumpkins, 2 more generators, and donate food to our local food banks and families in need. Thank you for all of your love and support.
Our Farm Manager Sam managed to rescue these chickens from the raging flood waters! We are very grateful for all of his hard work!
