Help Highlands Little League Recover After Devastating Theft
One of the Worst Things That Could Happen to a Non-Profit! Highlands Little League Was Robbed!
Our local Little League park, the heart of our community, has been dealt a devastating blow. Thieves broke into our facility and stole nearly all of our essential equipment, including:
Tractor
Zero turns
Bunker rakes
Weed eaters
Blowers
Sprayers
Air compressor
Tools
Wire
Highlands Little League operates on private property and is completely self-funded. We don’t receive any support from the city or county for mowing, electricity, or maintenance.
Every dollar comes from the fundraising efforts of our kids, like selling candy each year, our sponsors, and from the amazing parents and volunteers who dedicate their time to mowing, dirt work, weed eating, and cleaning weekly.
The stolen equipment is vital to keeping our fields safe and playable for the kids who love this game. While the kids work hard to raise funds, they could never raise enough to replace items like tractors, lawn mowers, and other critical tools on their own.
