More information about Lilith Fund: We provide financial assistance and emotional support while building community spaces for people who need abortions in Texas--unapologetically, with compassion and conviction. Through organizing and movement-building, we foster a positive culture around abortion, strengthen people power, and fight for reproductive justice in and with our communities. Your financial donation to the Lilith Fund goes directly to offset the cost of a safe and legal abortion for someone who otherwise couldn't afford it.

More information about us: We are a group of girl friends committed to supporting reproductive health equity and the right for all women (and people) to govern their own bodies and choices. We live in Washington, Oregon, California, North Carolina, Georgia, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and today, we are all the women of Texas. We are the mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters and friends that have had to face these choices, support each other in these choices, agonized and grieved over these choices, and are terrified of what it would mean if we had to make these decisions and walk this path in isolation. Alone, our voices are not loud enough and our pockets not deep enough to help. We believe the communities that support us can amplify our voices and raise money to support those whose communities do not support them.

The Supreme Court just upheld the strictest abortion ban in the nation under SB8 in Texas, effectively putting a ban on abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy. SB8 allows ordinary citizens to sue anyone they believe has received an abortion or helped someone who has in the state of Texas. SB8 barres care for nearly 85% of the state's abortion patients. Abortion is a human right and is a fundamental component of adequate healthcare, period.
