Aria and Marguerite Bossone Help A School In Need
Will you please help my grandma and me by donating just a few dollars to change the lives of children in need?
So many of you know and love my grandmother Marguerite Bossone. For the past two years she has received 24-hour love, care, and support from Nana Esi Aidoo, a remarkable woman from Ghana, West Africa who has become a member of our family.
Last year my dad visited Nana Esi's husband and children in Ghana, and met the children of Akokoaso Junior High School where her husband Kofi Siyie has dedicated his life to teaching children who cannot afford books, pencils, or any school supplies.
Nana Esi's love for my grandmother and Kofi Siyie's love for these children have inspired me to take action to help. So I have joined the team of Liberation Through Education (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded at our high school by my brother's close friends Adway and Ben) to raise the money needed to give these beautiful children the books and supplies they need and deserve.
We need to raise GH ₵20,409, which converts to US $3,995. I have included some photos of my grandma and Nana Esi, my dad at the school, the current condition of their classrooms, and a list of the supplies we will purchase with the funds.
