Hope & Healing Fund Story
No mother should have to face heart failure and wonder how she is going to make it through the next day.
The Hope & Healing Fund was created for
women and families affected by Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM), a pregnancy-associated form of heart failure that can change a family’s life in an instant.
When a mother is fighting to recover, she may also be facing unexpected expenses, missed work, food insecurity, transportation needs, childcare, household bills, or other immediate challenges. Healing does not stop when she leaves the hospital,and neither should support.
Our Hope & Healing Fund exists to provide short-term emergency assistance and compassionate support to PPCM survivors and their families during times of greatest need.
This fund was born from lived experience. As a PPCM survivor, I understand that recovery is about more than the heart. It can affect a mother’s ability to work, care for her children, manage everyday responsibilities, and feel secure while navigating an experience she never expected.
Through this fund, we want our heart sisters to know:
You are not alone.
Your life matters.
Your healing matters.
And your family matters.
Every donation helps us respond to a real need and remind a mother that her community has not forgotten her.
Whether it provides groceries for her family, transportation to an appointment, childcare while she rests, help with an urgent household expense, or simply a little breathing room during an overwhelming season, your generosity can make a real difference in a mother’s ability to focus on healing.
