Please Help the "Street Kids" of Kinshasa!

During the early 20th century, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was war-torn with civil war and government corruption. These horrible events have caused over 25,000 children of Kinshasa, the capital of the DRC, to experience untenable living conditions. Many of them are homeless and have been forced into crime and prostitution, keeping them from receiving food, healthcare and an education.
As part of our Rotary sponsored Sonoma County New Generation Peacebuilders program, a group of local high school students are bringing awareness and financial support to the “Street Children” of Kinshasa. We are doing this by supporting an organization called Les Enfants Baobab.
Les Enfants Baobab is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing an education, as well as providing a roof over the heads of the street children of Kinshasa, Our group, the New Generation Peacebuilders, is passionate about helping these children in any way we can. Our goal is to raise $10,000, which would help Les Enfants Baobab continue to expand its mission of serving these children.
Please join our team and help make a difference for these children. All money raised will go directly to Les Enfants Baobab, and any donation will help make an impact for these children. Les Enfants Baobab is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization (Tax ID# 81-1697929), so any donations are tax deductible. Thanks in advance for your contribution.
If you would like to send a check directly to Les Enfants Baobab, their mailing address is: P.O. Box 1772, Rohnert Park CA 94928
