Please donate to a SCHOLARSHIP in Jeff's memory.  The SCHOLARSHIP will go each year to the CHILD or GRANDCHILD of a VETERAN at the VFW POST in Dyer, Indiana.

During Jeff's life, he was a "giver" who touched many lives and many hearts.  He gave of his time and his resources. He gave through his humor and his story telling. He gave from his big, caring heart.

One passion of Jeff's for many years was supporting veterans and their families.  He was very active at the Dyer, Indiana VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post #6448.  Many of the veterans there became like the brothers he didn't have growing up.

On May 14, 2018, Jeff Van Hecke passed away unexpectedly.  Friends and family have started a memorial scholarship in his honor, and we hope you will donate to the fund. 

Jeff is survived by Yolanda, his wife of 25 years, and by his son Jonathan.  Jeff was at Jonathan's college graduation only weeks before his death, where he felt so proud of his son.
