Leap of Faith Equine Rescue and Sanctuary

Please help Convict! He is a rescued gorgeous, sweet, 9 year old American Saddlebred gelding who is fighting for his life. He is currently being treated at the University of Florida's Large Animal Hospital for acute kidney injury and laminitis. He was admitted on 12/28/25 for signs of colic and was subsequently diagnosed with colitis and then developed a secondary laminitis. He is getting the best care possible but we need YOUR help for the veterinary bills (which are significant as you can imagine). PLEASE HELP! All donations will go directly to his vet bills and subsequent care through the Leap of Faith Equine Rescue and Sanctuary. This incredible organization gives equines (like sweet Convict) a much-needed second chance, helping them heal from neglect and abuse. Their mission is to provide physical and emotional rehabilitation, ultimately leading to loving forever homes or a peaceful sanctuary for those in need.

Leap of Faith Equine Rescue and Sanctuary

Our mission is to give equines a second chance at life and love by addressing their physical and emotional needs throughout their rehabilitation process. Our goal is to find each of them an approved, forever home or to provide sanctuary where they can live the remainder of their lives in dignity and peace. We are working towards our goal of being able to use Equine Activities as a means of therapy. Veterans, Active Military, their spouses and children will be our main focus and we will provide services for PTSD, mental and physical disabilities, stress and coping issues.
