About Law Enforcement Foundation
The Law Enforcement Foundation (LEF) extends the reach & support of law enforcements role in local communities through education and training programs that enhance quality of life and foster the values of good citizenship. The LEF is a sister group to the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. These chiefs identified the greatest needs in their communities, and conceived of a mission with three core goals: to address long-term community safety needs, to enhance the leadership skills of law enforcement professionals, and to encourage realistic, hands-on research to best address both law enforcement & community safety concerns. The central theme guiding them, to think and to act with an eye toward the future, continues to drive our mission today.
