Langdon Elementary School PTO

Langdon Elementary School is a low income Title One school in Northeast Washington, D.C. We have a history of high achievement for students and that stems from our amazing faculty and staff. We have been awarded the Empower K12 bold performance award for the past five years consecutively. We are also a 4 star school within DC Public Schools.

In the past two years, our school community has experienced a big shift in demographics. With the migrant families being bussed to D.C. by various other states, Langdon has welcomed over 100 multi-lingual students into our community. With great shifts, comes great need. As a public school, we rely on our community and our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to help us fund various things in order to continue to enhance the educational experiences of all of our scholars.

With this funding, we would be able to support Kindergarten and 5th grade promotions, field trips to promote extended learning opportunities for all, as well as crucial supplies and supports for our enrichment events and activities. Any amount would be helpful and appreciated, but this goal would allow us to cover all expenses this school year!
