L.A.M.P Summer 2020 Supporting Migrant Farmworkers

As a little background, each summer I work with migrant farmworkers and sign up their children (ages 3 to 17) for summer school and summer camp during the blueberry season in South Jersey. During the blueberry season, migrant families travel from various parts of Latin America (Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Haiti, etc.) and various parts of the United States to harvest blueberries.
These are unprecedented times for us all, and especially for the most underserved populations. Migrant farmworkers are considered essential workers, and it is with great expectation that they will continue to work during this COVID-19 pandemic. Their families will need much support. Through my nonprofit L.A.M.P, we would like to raise 2500.00 in emergency funds to support the migrant families specifically. Such funds would help with the distribution of emergency food bags, hygiene/toiletries bags, protective masks and gift cards to purchase hot meals and shop at the local grocery stores.

Thank You. Muchas Gracias. Merci.
