Help Lake Worth Waterkeeper Stop Developers
The mangroves and seagrasses there shelter juvenile green turtles, small sawtooth fish, manatees, bonefish and more--their habitat would be wiped out.
Other submerged land owners, Fane Lozman and Daniel Taylor, have already brought concrete barges and docks into the lagoon, tying them off to mangroves, to bob with the tide against the grasses below.
It could be a long legal battle ahead to stop these development plans--and we will need financial help to come out alive with the win. It may be a tsunami of legal actions and expenses, but we are girding for a fight for the animals that can't fight for themselves.
Your contribution to this cause will make a difference to the community of fish, birds, manatees, turtles, residents, tourists, fishing & diving enthusiasts, kayakers, canoers, day trippers and all who love having healthy water and a clean beach.
