Support KYDS: Alessandra’s Spring Lake 5 Mile Run
Hello, I’m Alessandra and I am raising $500 for KYDS as a runner for the Spring Lake 5 Mile on Sat, May 17! Any donation is appreciated, and don’t think anything is “too little.” (Think of it this way: if 100 people donate $5 each, I’ll meet my starting goal!)
If you don’t know about KYDS, here’s a little more info. They are a 501c3 non-profit conscious youth development organization based in Asbury Park that transforms Youth, Schools and communities through holistic practices.
Their programs focus on teaching holistic, mindfulness, and SEL practices, which have been shown to reduce stress, increase awareness, strengthen relationships, and make decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
Established in 2014, they’ve already made such an impact:
•served 35,000+ students, 10,000+ educators, and 200+ organizations
•currently partnered with 7 schools through the Asbury Park School District to implement Full-Time Comprehensive Programming
•awarded over $17,000 to 17 graduating students throughout Asbury Park and Neptune High School to assist with the costs of attending college or trade school
