Hello, everyone! I’m Eva Branam, my platform is dedicated to bringing joy and connection to families who are going through difficult times. Inspired by my personal experiences, I have created this fundraising campaign to support families in need, especially those with loved ones in hospitals and nursing homes.

In Indiana, nearly 58% of nursing home residents report feeling lonely or socially isolated, a factor linked to increased rates of depression and serious health complications. Similarly, families facing prolonged hospital stays often encounter emotional and financial challenges, with approximately 20% of Hoosier families struggling to afford medical care or necessities. During my pageant journey, I’ve been inspired by the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together. My passion for this cause is deeply personal, as I reflect on my late great-grandfather’s time in nursing homes and hospitals. He was fearful of being alone during his illness, and this experience made me realize how vital it is to provide comfort and companionship to those who are often overlooked in difficult moments.

With the funds raised here, I plan to provide essential financial support to families struggling with medical bills, as well as offer emotional and social care to those in hospitals and nursing homes. This can include providing musical entertainment, organizing events, or simply offering time and presence to help brighten someone’s day. My mission is to ensure that no one has to face these challenges alone, and that every person, regardless of their circumstances, feels valued and cared for.
