Kitten Nuggets

As many of you who follow me on instagram (@kitten.nuggets) know, poor sweet Ruby lost her battle with a nasty URI recently. She was so sick with so much congestion that she was breathing from her mouth nearly all of the time and required tube feeding every 3 hours around the clock. We tried several antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, steamy bathroom time, saline nasal drops, snot sucker, the works! Nothing provided the relief she needed to breathe more easily. 

Many of you asked about an incubator or admitting her to a vet hospital for oxygen. Being a 501c3 rescue, it's a better investment to purchase this equipment and have the ability to provide supplemental oxygen and a more enclosed space for nebulizer treatments at home because this will allow me to help more babies in the future. The money from this fundraiser will go directly to purchasing an ICU (intensive care unit) with an oxygen concentrator for future babies like Ruby! No donation is too small and every $1 helps provide lifesaving support for these very fragile little guys! Thank you so much for your generosity!! I truly couldn't do this work without your support!

Want to help prevent unnecessary suffering and death of itty bitty baby kittens? Currently, there is a colony of about 30 cats at a car shop near Newark airport! In NJ, there is no free TNR program. Each cat costs about $55 + anything additional a cat may need to ensure they are healthy before they are released. If you can find it in your heart to help sponsor a cat (or partially sponsor - even $5 helps!), you would be helping us prevent kittens from being born outside to undoubtedly suffer.
