KiTNETiC

KiTNETiC is a youth-led nonprofit in North Texas, and it began with a drive for change.

Jessica Zhang, a current high school student, first started this organization to continue one of her side hustles of creating pre-packaged STEM kits for elementary schools. However, in the last two years, that side hustle became much more. Now, with a team of 15, she has led over 30 volunteer events where community members pack all sorts of kits, from school supply kits, to hygiene kits, and of course STEM kits. As an organization, we have packed over 17,500 kits and impacted over 27 schools and 46 partner organizations that span all spheres of community development.

At KiTNETiC, we are strong believers in giving back to the communities that raised us, which is why we are dedicated to supporting all aspects of community and youth development. Though many may believe that the youth are powerless, we think otherwise, that the future starts with the youth.

We are gearing to expand our organization significantly this year, with a goal of doubling the number of kits we pack from 17,000 to 30,000. However, we cannot do it alone. To expand our reach, we will need to scale up the number of volunteer events we host, all of which require significant funding we do not have.

We are KiTNETiC, a youth-led nonprofit based in Plano, TX that packs kits for causes. Like many of us, we are heartbroken by the flooding in Kerr County. With this disaster hitting so close to home, our team of students are doing something about it.

To support the victims of the Texas flood, our organization is packing relief kits containing personal hygiene items and first aid supplies to individuals who need these items currently due to flooding. We will then ship these "kits" containing these items out to parties that will distribute these materials.

This fundraiser will work to ship these kits and general relief to the Austin Disaster Relief Network. Through this specific fundraiser, we will be buying 10$ gift cards to distribute to victims of the flood.

We are turning to our community to look for support and help fundraise to mitigate the damage from these unfortunate events. We hope that with your help, we are able to reach our goal and help members of our community in this time of crisis.
