In 2023, Kimmy’s Kitty Corner Inc. was born—a nonprofit born not of profit, but pure heart. From a modest start, it has grown into a beacon of hope for the Capital District’s forgotten felines. In just a few years, Kimmy has rescued and rehabilitated, and over 350 cats have found new families thanks to her tireless work.
But Kimmy’s mission goes beyond cuddles and food bowls. She uses her social media presence to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, fighting back against myths, and misinformation with kindness and truth. Her message is clear: every cat deserves a chance, and every human has a part to play.
Her days begin before sunrise and often end long after dark. When the phone buzzes, she answers—whether it’s a sick kitten found under a porch or a whole colony dumped in a vacant lot. She drives countless miles each week: to vet appointments, foster homes, and emergency rescues. It’s a job that demands heart, but it also demands something more practical—a reliable vehicle.
And that’s where she needs your help.
Kimmy’s Kitty Corner is in desperate need of a new Kitty Car. Her current vehicle, battered and broken transmission, has seen more cat crates than a pet store, and it's nearing the end of the road. Without it, her rescue efforts are at risk.
