Kilohana Preschool Flood Fundraiser
After a major rain storm hit Honolulu on Friday, April 13th, the Kilohana Preschool (located at Kilohana United Methodist Church) flooded with not only rain/mountain water, but also garbage water from the surrounding area (it was trash day the next day). The floors need to be completely replaced, as well as most furniture items in all four classrooms, the nap room and the kitchen/snack supply room.
Some of the expenses will be covered by the facility's insurance. However, the deductible and some replacement items will not be covered in its entirety. Several families have asked how they can help to donate money or items to the preschool so we setup this gofundme account to help! Many mahalos in advance for your contributions!
