Kensington Stewards Ltd

We are The Kensington Stewards, a 501(c)(3) organization that organizes community events in Brooklyn.

We are the Plaza Partners for Kensington Plaza, where we organize free and inclusive community events for our diverse neighborhood. Recent projects include hosting live Broadway performances (thanks to Broadway for Arts Education) and organizing winter and summer solstice celebrations (in collaboration with Make Music New York) on the plaza. We also offer free personal finance and poetry workshops at our local libraries. We organize community cleanups and cultural events such as community iftars, pop-up art events, and much more!

Next spring, we will be curating a special photo exhibition that highlights public health issues in rural Bangladesh. This project powerfully represents how climate change, pollution, and poverty affect not only the people of Bangladesh but people everywhere.
