Team Mac 20 Yr Anniversary for KKF
This May 2, 2018 will mark the 20 year anniversary of the passing of our father and husband Kevin McLaughlin. Our Dad was truly one of a kind and we want to continue to honor his love for sports, competition, family, friends, and partying by running the Asbury Park Half Marathon and celebrating afterward in his honor.
We will be running as "Team Mac" which was the name our Dad gave to our family running team back in the day when we would compete in Middletown's "Great Race". We will be having T-shirts made for the event to show our team spirit!
We also want to honor our Dad by raising money for a great cause. Our friends the Campbell boys have an amazing foundation in honor of their mother Kathy who lost her fight against breast cancer in 2013. The foundation supports local families affected by cancer.

Race information: Runapalooza Asbury Park Half Marathon

Options: Asbury Park Half Marathon (13.1 miles) or the Jersey Shore 5K (3.1 miles)
Start time: 8:30am at the Asbury Park Convention Hall
Registration: Registration
Cost: cost for the half marathon is $50 and for the 5K is $25-- the prices WILL go up after December 31st.
If you do not want to run, no worries at all- just come join us to cheer on the runners and for the after-race celebrations! After the race we will head to 21 Tramp Hollow for food, drinks and Kevin McLaughlin stories by the Tiki bar all night! Maybe if we're lucky someone will reenact the epic Phantom of the Opera routine!
