Utilizing Pet Family Advocacy(TM), we provide innovative, compassionate solutions to keep pet families together. We prevent the surrender of dogs to shelters through the distribution of Canine Assistance, Resources and Empowerment (C.A.R.E.) Kits containing food, equipment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, vet care and dog training. Our Pet Family Housing Initiative helps people find dog-inclusive housing and advocates for emotional support and service animals. We are the only animal welfare organization in Western MA that brings services directly to people in their homes. Many of our people are disabled, elderly or don't have cars. Our pet families must receive some form of federal or state assistance and are domestic violence survivors, disabled veterans and the unhoused.
