Help support Tony Zhou and his family and friends during his passing and transition in the state between births (bardo).
The family of Tony Zhou is inviting those interested to donate to the Kagyu Changchub Chuling Buddhist Center (KCC: https://kcc.org/) in Portland, Oregon, in support of Tony during his 49-day period of bardo.
Tony grew up in the Buddhist tradition. He became a Buddhist in 2009 at age 12. When Tony graduated from High School in 2016, he took a pilgrimage to Lodrowolung Monastery in Southern Tibet for 7 days to attend the ‘Eight Precepts Ceremony’. The Lodrowolung Monastery is the first temple of the Kagyu lineage. It was built by Marpa the Translator in early 11th century. During this grand ceremony, Tony received blessings from his guru Nyima Rinpoche, and Lama Karma Xianpei.
Tony’s family found the KCC community, one of the Kagyu Lineage Centers in US, as a result of Tony’s passing. KCC has held a ceremony in his behalf, and will continue to pray for him during his bardo (Aug 11- Sep 29) - the 49-day period after his passing. Tokens of giving help Tony’s spirit achieve <The Great Liberation>, and also help people affected by this tragedy through the process of bereavement.
