Investing in Education Through Agribusiness
Tufaane Infinity Brothers (TIB) is a self-help group formed in 2021 by alumni of the Utugi Children's Centre in Kenya. The brothers are care leavers who grew up in the orphanage together and now serve as a network of mutual support, mentorship, and accountability. Their purpose extends beyond their own membership: they exist to give back to the home that raised them and to open the same opportunities to the young men still coming through it.
In Kenya, only about 20 percent of students who complete secondary school go on to university. Tuition, housing, and basic living costs put higher education out of reach for most care leavers. For three years, TIB has supported its members through individual donations from well-wishers, but inconsistent funding has caused some students to leave school before completing their studies. The Tufaane Infinity Ranch is the long-term solution: a working agribusiness that will fund education from its own profits.
The Ranch Plan
The ranch is a mixed livestock and crop operation designed to function as both a training ground and a financial engine. Within two years, we aim to have 50 dairy cattle, 200 dairy goats, 3,500 layer and broiler chickens, 100 breeding pigs, and 200 rabbits, alongside 1.5 acres of maize and fodder crops. The operation will aim to employ and train 20 young men in agribusiness and livestock management, build market linkages with local retailers and cooperatives, and reinvest profits directly into higher education scholarships and welfare support for TIB members.
What the Tufaane Infinity Brothers Stand For
The brotherhood is grounded in Christian faith and a clear set of working values: integrity, transparency, accountability, diligence, kindness, commitment, self-discipline, love, and honesty. The long-term goal is for the ranch to become profitable enough to sustain not only its members but a wider mission of service, care for the disadvantaged, and education for other young men across Kenya.
About This Campaign
Donations are gathered on behalf of Tufaane Infinity Brothers by Joystone Ministries, a registered nonprofit partner. Funds support the startup phase of the ranch, including land development, livestock procurement, and infrastructure construction. Every contribution moves the brothers closer to a self-sustaining model that supports their education today and the generation of care leavers who will follow them.
