The Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven (JHSGNH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and preserving historical documents, photographs, and memorabilia of the Jewish community of Greater New Haven. Established in 1976, the Society’s goal is to reach the largest audience possible through publications, exhibitions, seminars, and educational programs. We are one of the five societies of the Ethnic Heritage Center located on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University.
