02/23 - Update: We have gotten our outstanding bills down to just about $2,500 owed by the end of February. If you can help us pay off the rest that would mean a lot!

02/03 - Update:

Despite a few donations outside of GoFundMe and scrutinizing each expense on our end, our vet bill is still at $3,596.81. We have several sick animals waiting to come into rescue right now, but we cannot take them in or support their care without immediate help. Even $5 from each person reading this would make a real impact.

For the first time in 3 years, we are asking for urgent help with veterinary needs!

Multiple intakes with unexpected health issues and medication needs, along with continued care of older and ill Sanctuary animals has driven Jenn's Uncommon Critters' veterinary bills up. We are currently sitting at $4,656.46, which is due by the end of February, and we need your help to pay down some of these bills so we can keep getting our critters, and others waiting to come in, the care they need. Please share and donate if you can.

MD winters & big tortoises don't mix! These large desert species, 3rd largest species in the world, need summer like temperatures all year round so we are building an indoor oasis!

Jenn's Uncommon Critters is in the process of upgrading an old shed into the Winter Tortoise house. While this project is ongoing it is quite the costly endeavor. Your donation will help us continue to repair old flooring and siding; add insulation on the floor, walls, and celling; put down a subfloor; layout a protective floor covering; build out enclosure spaces; build out shelves for the small tortoise enclosures; repair/run heat and electric to the shed; and help additional animals in need.

Jenn's Uncommon Critters is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit and 100% volunteer organization. We rely on donations to help us with the cost and expense of taking care of a large variety of animals.
