About IVIS - International Veterinary Information Service
IVIS was founded in 2000 as a non-profit educational organization to improve access to clinically relevant information for veterinary students and veterinary practitioners. The mission is to develop, organize and deliver up to date, expert information in all disciplines of animal health care and veterinary medicine to students and practitioners in developing countries and in Latin America, as well as to their counterparts in North America, Europe, Austral-Asia and Africa. The IVIS web site provides free access to IVIS-developed publications, databases and services, as well as a portal to other web-based veterinary resources.
