Help Us Complete Our Dream — A New Mosque for Our Growing Community in Middletown, DE
All donations to this campaign are 100% tax-deductible.
Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Brothers, Sisters, Friends, and Community Members,
Several years ago, the Islamic Society of Delaware began a journey to establish a new mosque to serve our growing Muslim community. What we hoped would move quickly became a much longer journey than expected.
The COVID-19 pandemic, followed by lengthy permitting and approval delays, significantly slowed the project. Despite these challenges, Alhamdulillah, we remained committed to our vision and continued working toward the day when this new house of Allah could finally become a reality.
Alhamdulillah, that day is now here. We are ready to begin actual construction.
After years of planning, patience, and perseverance, we have reached a critical stage of the project. To move forward with construction without further delay, we urgently need to raise $500,000.
This is where we need your help.
Your contribution will directly support the construction of the new mosque and help turn a dream that our community has carried for years into reality. The new mosque will, Insha'Allah, provide a permanent home for daily prayers, Jummah, Islamic education, youth programs, Ramadan activities, and community services for generations to come.
Our need is immediate. Construction is ready to move forward, and raising these funds now is essential to keeping the project moving.
Every donation matters. Whether you are able to give $25, $100, $1,000, or more, your contribution brings us one step closer to opening the doors of this new house of Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim
We invite you to become part of this Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). Long after the construction is complete, every prayer offered, every child who learns, every person who benefits, and every act of worship performed in this mosque can, Insha'Allah, continue to be a source of reward.
We have waited years to reach this moment. Now we need your help to make this dream a reality.
Please donate generously today and share this campaign with your family, friends, and community. Together, Insha'Allah, we can raise the $500,000 needed to move construction forward and build a house of Allah that will serve generations to come.
May Allah accept your generosity, multiply your rewards, and bless you and your families.
