Isaiah 117 House

We are still in SHOCK and AWE that because our community BELIEVED the children of Carter County deserved better that we were able to open the first Isaiah 117 House in one year. THIS IS THE AMAZING WORK OF GOD. Because you all stood by us through every single step of this journey, we have a beautiful house for children awaiting foster care to transition.  We continue to stand by our community, and know you will too. 

We have an awesome new t-shirt in youth XS-XL and adult XS-XL sizes to celebrate going into our second year as we STAND by these children. We've still got our original gray shirts too. Thank you will never be enough for us to say to our community to believed in Isaiah 117 House, believed that these children deserve better and believed we could literally raise the funds to BUY A HOUSE! We are in phase 2 of the Isaiah 117 House and we are getting ready for construction for all the rooms so we can be operational very soon. We are OVERWHELMED that phase 2 is happening so quickly. We will need your help stocking the rooms with supplies, painting rooms, and volunteering.  As we have details on how you can help, we will post them to our facebook page. 


We have been able to share our mission with over 10,000 views to our social media in just a few weeks and this is all because of YOU. Please help us continue to grow and reach our goal. Together, WE can build this HOUSE to support the foster children in our area awaiting placement into foster care. 

OUR STORY....

When children are removed from their homes out of the concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the Department of Children's Services Offices to await placement with a foster family. This wait can be several hours to nearly a full day. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and often in dirty clothing.

Isaiah 117 wants to provide a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait-a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide them clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space will allow children to receive the comfort and care they need while DCS staff are able to the necessary paperwork and identify a good foster placement.
