Is 318 - PTA

I'm helping to raise money to provide new curtains for the auditorium at I.S. 318. The auditorium is an integral part of the I.S. 318 community, it hosts school assemblies, the drama club, the dance team, the band, and the list goes on! The current curtains are at least 20 years old and in a severe state of disrepair. They are no longer operational (won't open or close), torn all over and stained. Let's put these dingy curtains to a close!

The stage is huge and because of that, we need curtains from the same companies that provide Broadway shows with their curtains! These curtains are custom and costly. The current quote is $6,249. Please help support this stage that serves such an amazing group of students! The Parent Association of I.S. 318 is a 501c3 charitable organization, therefore all donations are 100% tax deductible!!

Located where Bushwick, hip Williamsburg and Hasidic Williamsburg meet, I.S. 318 Eugenio Maria De Hostos has a championship chess team–the subject of a documentary film called Brooklyn Castle–and a range of electives including robotics, cooking, sports, art classes and almost 50 after-school programs. Also, Jay Z went there! I.S. 318 is home to over 1200 students and is a perfect reflection of the amazing diversity that is BROOKLYN!
