ILTexas supports the people of China
Dear friends,
The International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) wants to personally ask for your support in aiding the people of Wuhan, China during this difficult time.
The number of infected people and casualties has been climbing since the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus in Wuhan, China. At the time of this writing, the total number of global victims is 75,000.
Many hospitals in Wuhan, China are running out of essential medical supplies, such as face masks, protective goggles, medical gowns, disinfectants, etc. Doctors, nurses, and medical staff are in great danger as they treat a surge of newly infected patients. Millions of residents in Hubei Province are isolated at home, experiencing great hardship. Schools are closed and students are forced to take classes remotely from home.
As an international school, we have relationships with schools and organizations throughout the world, but the ones in China hold a special place in our hearts.
The mission of ILTexas is to prepare students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character. As a result, we have an expectation to assist others that are facing challenges and to live our motto of others before self.
This urgent time calls for urgent actions. We are calling for your help with this humanitarian crisis! We are asking you to donate money that will be used to purchase supplies and provide other support to hospitals and people in the Hubei Province. Please join our effort to fight this disease and help the relief effort! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
