Indivisible Civics

Dear Friends and Family, After I recovered from COVID-19 in April, I started running a one-mile-a-day marathon (one mile for 27 days) to get stronger physically and cope better emotionally. I have since completed two of these marathons. I will be running a third marathon over the course of September to raise money to help strengthen our democracy. As most of you know, I came to the US as a refugee from the Soviet Union. I know first-hand how critical the hope our country represents is to millions of people around the world. But our democracy is in peril, primarily because we’ve forgotten how precious and fragile it is. Indivisible Civics is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports civic education and leadership development for local groups focused on civic engagement.
