Help Us Keep Quito Ecuador's Free Medical Clinic Open
IMAHELPS ECUADOR is a U.S.-based tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 99-1406963) founded by Tracey D. Allen and Ines Allen. Since our inception, we’ve been committed to providing diverse medical and surgical care to some of the poorest communities in Ecuador. Our mission is not only to offer free healthcare, but to foster educational exchanges between Ecuadorian healthcare professionals and their international peers.
Every year, several times a year, we lead teams of approximately 40 volunteer doctors, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and pain management professionals from around the world to provide free, life-changing care. Our work reaches thousands of underserved individuals who otherwise have no access to healthcare.
But our commitment doesn’t end when our missions conclude.
We are proud to operate a free, sustainable free clinic in Ecuador for continued follow-up care. Located in the Capitol, Quito, the clinic is staffed by volunteer Ecuadorian doctors and staff who ensure that the patients we treat during our missions receive ongoing care long after we leave. This continuity is critical—it means our patients can heal fully, manage chronic conditions, and improve their quality of life without interruption.
Sadly, the cost of keeping this clinic open is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain. Rent and lab fees for poor patients are mounting, and without support, this vital clinic is at risk of closing its doors.
We know of no other U.S.-based medical mission organization that offers this kind of sustainable, long-term care in Ecuador. If this clinic closes, the underserved populations we work with will lose access to free, essential healthcare—leaving many without any hope for follow-up treatment.
We Need Your Help
Your donation will directly fund the operational costs of the clinic, including rent and lab fees, ensuring that we can continue to serve Ecuador’s poorest communities. Together, we can sustain this beacon of hope and health for those who need it most.
Every dollar counts. Join us in making a difference. Let’s keep this clinic open and continue to save lives, one patient at a time.
Thank you for your generosity,
