Let me introduce you to Frank Erb, pastor to the California State Capitol and beyond.  Most people don’t even know there is such a thing as a pastor to the state capitol, but through Illuminate California (FrankErb.org), Frank is a pastor to California’s leaders.  On his website, his job description reads, “Helping leaders to follow Jesus so they can become all God has made them to be.” Late Assembly member Dan Logue (1950-2021) described his work this way:  “Frank Erb is performing a valuable service to legislators in Sacramento by providing the necessary spiritual support that assists us in keeping our priorities straight.”  

Frank has a prayer team that meets weekly to pray for him and I’m honored to be one of those people.  I have known Frank for several years and have attended several of the Bible studies he leads at the state capitol, he is an excellent Bible teacher.  Every Christian in California should consider Frank Erb as a missionary working on their behalf in gospel ministry as he labors among elected officials and others at our state capitol.

 

Recently I’ve become aware of some needs that Frank has and since it’s the very end of Pastor Appreciation Month (October), I want to see if we can truly bless and appreciate Pastor Frank by sharing those needs.  Frank’s iPhone and Macbook Pro are outdated and his resources are limited.  He also needs an improved online tool for preparing his weekly Bible studies that would save him a great deal of valuable time and make him more effective in his ministry.  I’ve listed the most pressing needs below:

 

$500 for Logos Gold Package, tool for preparing Bible studies

$1100 for iPhone 13 Pro

$1000 to cover internet expenses for a year (website, planning center, automated texts)

$3000 for Macbook Pro 16” plus accessories

 

As you can see, I’m trying to raise a minimum of $5,600 for Frank’s ministry needs as he counsels and teaches in Sacramento and beyond.  If you want to learn more about how Frank’s work has impacted our leaders, contact him via his website to come and speak at your church.  You won’t be disappointed!
