Get me to EverStars Class!
We have a problem! (ok, it's a good problem).
As we opened registration for the 2018/19 season of RiverStars Performing Arts, the permission slips came pouring in. We currently have TWICE the amount of EverStars applicants than we were prepared to accept. The EverStars hail from 3rd and 4th grades in public, private and home school. We just can't face telling half of these kids that they cannot participate because we are full, so we have decided to ADD A CLASS!
Here's the catch: we must raise $3,800 to keep this class going for the year. We will start the class on a temporary basis, but if we can't raise $1,000 by the end of October, we will have to cancel this class which will devastate 15-20 EverStars.
RiverStars is the only theatre and dance opportunity in the Illinois Valley. Moving into the 5th year of programming, we are seeing the positive impacts of this program on the participants and in our community. We would be so grateful if you would contribute to this momentum.
If you care about the education kids in rurally isolated and generationally impoverished communities receive, and understand the impact rural communities do have in our national dialogue, then this is your opportunity to positively impact and shape our future!
