On the night of April 21st, 2025, a peaceful neighborhood was shaken by intense gunfire between the military and suspected armed groups. As fear gripped the residents and families sheltered inside, no one could have anticipated the second wave of devastation that would follow.

In the early hours of the morning, neighbors spotted flames rising from one side of a home. Likely triggered by the night's chaos, the fire spread rapidly, destroying multiple homes. Despite courageous efforts to contain it, the flames consumed everything—shelter, belongings, and years of memories—all gone in just a few hours.

Thankfully, no lives were lost. But the aftermath left several families homeless, stripped of basic necessities and left to start over with nothing.

That’s where IChartiable is stepping in—to support, uplift, and rebuild.

We are launching a $500,000 fundraising campaign to bring this community back from tragedy and offer them a new beginning.
