Mission

The ICAROS Foundation was created with the mission of preserving the dignity of children and families in our communities. We believe that no one should go without access to basic medical and dental care, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to maintain proper hygiene and daily living through access to toothbrushes, soap, and other essential products.

Moreover, we believe that children and their parents should have access to clean clothes, learning materials, basic household products, and educational toys. These are fundamental rights that, unfortunately, many families in our local community are forced to go without.

In today’s economy, throughout South Florida and across the globe, too many families are struggling to meet even the most basic needs. They are without access to essential goods and services, including the healthcare and hygiene products they need to live with dignity.

To address this, the ICAROS Foundation has partnered with health organizations, local businesses, and private individuals who share our mission. Together, we are committed to preserving the dignity of these families by providing everything from clean clothes and hygiene products to dental care and medical necessities. We invite our community — those who have been blessed with so much — to join us in providing much-needed aid to the less fortunate.

Who We Are

We are a passionate group of South Florida residents who saw a pressing need in our community: many children lack access to basic services that could greatly improve their quality of life. These children’s families, often without the financial means or necessary insurance, are unable to provide essential care.

Led by Dr. Stephen Criscuolo, the ICAROS Foundation was created to bridge this gap. Instead of turning children away when they are in pain, we take action. The ICAROS Foundation serves as a way to restore health and comfort to children through critical free dental care and hygiene services.

We are more than just parents, neighbors, and local public servants — we are people who care deeply about giving back to our community. The ICAROS Foundation is our way of returning the support our community gave us when we needed it most. We believe in paying it forward because no child should suffer due to circumstances beyond their control.

What We Do

We collaborate with community partners to create lasting change in two key areas:

Dental Care for Children: We provide free dental services for children experiencing pain from infected or over-retained teeth. These children’s families often lack the financial means or insurance to access the necessary treatments. We make sure no child is turned away.

Providing Basic Necessities: Beyond dental care, we work to ensure that families have access to essential goods. We distribute hygiene products such as toothbrushes, soap, and deodorant, as well as clothing, household items, and toys and books for children. We ensure that families who are struggling financially can access the basic necessities they deserve.

With the help of community partners and supporters, we provide the tools and care these families need to thrive.

The Pain No More Program/Pay No More (Tooth Fairy Program)

Our Pain No More Program, also known as the Tooth Fairy Program, is the cornerstone of our mission. Spearheaded by Dr. Stephen Criscuolo, this program ensures that children suffering from dental pain — due to infection or over-retained teeth — receive the necessary treatment free of charge.

By removing problem teeth, we restore the child’s health and improve their overall quality of life. This program is a direct response to an urgent need in our community, ensuring that no child continues to suffer simply because their family cannot afford dental care.

How You Can Help

There are many ways to get involved and make a difference in the lives of children and families in need. As a grassroots organization, we are always collecting gently used clothing, toys, books, and household items. These donations go directly to families who lack access to basic goods.

Your financial donations support the Tooth Fairy Program, allowing us to provide critical dental care to children in pain.

We also need volunteers! Whether you can join us throughout the year to organize, label, package, or distribute donations, or if you want to help clean and sort donations, we welcome all support. Your time, talent, and treasure are invaluable to our mission to bring comfort and care to the children and families who need it most.
