As members of the Zingaresca Ensemble, we are asking you to support our new and exciting recording project: "Shpil Mir, Tsygayner" – the Intersection of Romani and Yiddish Musical Cultures. Our album will interweave classical Eastern European guitar heritage with the Romani (“Gypsy”) and Jewish traditions. This project is bound to be terrific since members of our ensemble include the celebrated Romani virtuoso Vadim Kolpakov, the pioneer in the revival of the seven-string guitar Oleg Timofeyev, the Juilliard-trained baritone Anton Belov and a Romani singer and dancer Alina Nazarevich.
