Max Garvey-Windrich Hyperacusis Research
We are fundraising for Hyperacusis Research because it was Max's chosen charity.
Max had Tinnitus and Hyperacusis which can completely devastate a person's life. Sadly, not much is known about this hidden disability and there is a great need to raise awareness. Max developed more debilitating problems because of the tinnitus and especially the hyperacusis, which had a dramatic impact on his quality of life and on those close to him. Our joint, painful struggle endured for several years.
Max was very invested in helping to find a cure and donated to hyperacusis research. We would like to thank you for any donations that you can make in Max's memory. Alternatively, you may make a cash donation which will be forwarded to the charity.
We will shortly be sharing Max's story on the Hyperacusis Research website. By doing this we hope to reach out and help others going through similar traumatic experiences.

Hyperacusis Research Limited, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to the development of effective treatments for hyperacusis and to funding research which will eliminate the underlying mechanisms that cause hyperacusis.
