Hyper IgM Foundation, Inc.

Hi! My name is Callie, and I am a 12 year old girl who was recently diagnosed with hyper IgM syndrome. For me life has been kind of tough I’ve had some bullying issues, heath problems, I was recently diagnosed with autism, and mental health struggles. For my bat Mitzvah I wanted to support a cause that hits very close to home for me. Here’s some info about this particular disease. Hyper IgM Syndrome is a very rare disease that affects only 1 in 1,000,000 individuals the variant I have is only in me and one other person in the world! That’s 2 out of 8.1 billion people as of the beginning of 2023. Those living with Hyper IgM face a significantly shortened life span, multiple hospitalizations, and a high risk of secondary cancers. We need everyone’s help to make this world a better place and currently this is the only foundation/ charity that is supporting this cause.
