Join Volley for Anie: Help the Humane Society
Volley for Anie is a charity volleyball tournament on May 3, 2025 from 1-4 PM at the Grosse Pointe North gymnasium.

Join us in honoring the memory of Anie Driscoll by signing up a team of 4 to play in the tournament or with a donation to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

In her 35 years, Anie impacted so many of us with her positivity, humor, competitive spirit and love for animals. This event aims to bring together a lot of the things Anie loved and embodied into one place and celebrate her life.

Hello, my name is Madison Cantrell. My beloved Angel Dog passed away on 11/30. Chloe, a beautiful 12-year-old rescue, lived life to the fullest until the very end. She enjoyed being active in nature, snuggling with her humans, and doing tricks for treats. Our cherished colleague and friend, Heather Goodfellow, passed away on April 5, 2024. Anyone who knew Heather for any length of time knew what a great animal lover she was. In her memory, we are collecting contributions for a donation to be made in her name to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, where she adopted (at least) one of her dogs. Please feel free to share with anyone who knew Heather as one small way of helping her legacy live on in care and support of our furry friends.

Established to promote respect for all life and to prevent cruelty to animals, our continuing mission is to support the loving, responsible care of all animals in our community by: - Ensuring proper, nurturing care for the animals in our shelter - Placing all adoptable animals in loving homes and attempting to re-unite strays with their families - Reducing pet overpopulation by providing low-cost sterilizations - Providing education and outreach to the community - Stopping animal cruelty by working with local law enforcement as needed to educate people and protect animals.
