Expanding to save more animals!
The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch (HSLWR) is a 501C3; a non-profit dog and cat rescue shelter that relies solely on donations & event fundraising. We are a small rescue facility, but are very active and have rescued and placed approximately 700 dogs & cats in a seven year period. ((The HSLWR is not related in any way to the Humane Society of the United States, therefore we don't receive any funding from them. ))
We are a no-kill, not for profit rescue & shelter organization whose goal is to save and re-home at risk animals with an emphasis on those targeted for euthanasia and to place them into loving "furever" homes.
We are in the process of growing and are moving to a larger shelter; with your help we will be able to purchase new kennels with runs, dog beds, food, and toys to save more animals.
Pets mean the world to us and if you're an animal lover, please help us. We would be extremely grateful & so would the pets we rescue!
