Support Armstrong County's Fight Against Animal Cruelty
First -- a big "thank you" to everyone who supports our work. It is clear our community believes in what we do!
We hope to raise $5,000 to support our investigations and prosecutions for animal neglect and cruelty cases in Armstrong County, PA.
In 2024, our three volunteer humane officers investigated 117 cases and filed 813 charges against 27 individuals: 96 felonies, 329 misdemeanors, and 388 summaries. (The number of individuals remained the same, but there was a 387% increase in charges from 2023.)
We saw many types of animals: 78 cases involved dogs; 20, cats; 10, horses; 8, birds; 4, cows; 3, pigs; 2, cows; 2, goats; 2, sheep; 2, rabbits. One pet shop was also investigated.
