Fuzzy has been through a lot and still has a long way to go. Fuzzy had pneumonia that caused lung damage and with other health issues including ringworm, and only weighing 2 pounds, and still not stable she cannot be treated. Ringworm is a fungus that is highly contagious to cats, dogs, and humans. Fuzzy also has Giardia, a parasite that is found on contaminated soil, in food, and water. Giardia is caused by human or animal feces that is treatable but difficult to treat when there are other underlying health issues. Fuzzy needs to be isolated in an animal hospital to prevent the spread of ringworm and needs time to become stable to be treated. Our mission for Fuzzy is to give her the chance she deserves.
