Help Soleil and Milany Provide Hygiene Packages
Soleil Cardoso and Milany Torres are seniors from the Met High School in Providence and are working on their senior thesis project (STP) which is raising money to make self care/hygiene packages to distribute to Shower to Empower and collecting winter clothing donations to give to House of Hope in Warwick. Their goal is to reach $1,100 to purchase the items need for the hygiene products in hopes of making 200 packages! Please help these two young women reach their goal and complete their STP successfully. Anything helps!
Shower to Empower’s mission statement- Shower to empower is a one of a kind mobile service, offering basic needs such as complimentary showers and haircuts: we also offer on site case management and medical devices to those experiencing homelessness. Providing the most basic human needs, we aim to restore dignity to Rhode Island’s homelessness.
House of Hope mission statement: Serving our residents of Rhode Island, we aim to prevent and end homelessness. We offer affordable housing and life changing services. Working with other advocates, we support policies to ensure that no one is left behind.
