Our patients who are disadvantaged by socioeconomic barriers are assured parity in access to services and are treated with dignity and respect. We have a long history of commitment to serving people in a unique way that is patient-centered and tailored to best meet all their needs throughout the journey at life’s end. This has been accomplished through the strategic use of their limited resources and assistance from our Custis Compassion & Saunders Care Fund.
Hospice of Humboldt uses donations to provide specialized services like caregiving needs, personalized medical care and housing at the Ida Emmerson Hospice House, and food security to our patients and their families.
